A few things you might wonder

How closely do the stories follow the Bible?
These are retellings, with imagined conversations and details to help children enter the story. Our first story is based on Genesis 6–9. You can read the Bible passage alongside it.
Is my child old enough to understand?
Whisper & Word is made for ages 4–8, reading with a grown-up. Each story has its own age guide: our first story is for ages 5–8. You know your child best; look through the story first and choose a pace that feels right for them.
Will any parts frighten my child?
Some stories include difficult moments. Our first story includes a storm and a family spending a long time together on a boat. Read it through first if your child is sensitive to those themes, and pause whenever they need you.
What if I don’t know how to explain God?
You don’t need to have every answer. Start with the story and listen to what your child notices. “What do you think?” can open a conversation; “Let’s find out together” is a place to begin, too.
What if my child won’t sit through a whole story?
A few pages can be enough. Stop for a question, linger over a picture, or leave the rest for another day. Your place is saved in the same browser, so you can return together. Clearing browser data clears that place.
Is this for my child to use on their own?
It’s made for time together: you read, your child listens, and you turn the pages at your own pace. Recorded narration isn’t available yet. More stories will follow.
