Please read these terms before using Whisper & Word. They explain personal use of the stories, reading together, and what you can expect from the service.
Using Whisper & Word
These terms apply to www.whisperandword.com and the story reader at app.whisperandword.com. By using the service, you agree to these terms. Please use our contact form if you have questions.
Reading with a grown-up
The stories are intended for children to enjoy with a parent or carer. Age guides help you choose; you are responsible for deciding what is suitable for your child and supervising their use. These are creative Bible retellings with imagined details, rather than word-for-word Scripture or a substitute for reading the Bible.
Current service
The reader works in a web browser and requires an internet connection. There are no accounts, memberships or billing. Recorded narration and offline reading are not currently available. Story availability and features may change, and uninterrupted or error-free access is not guaranteed.
Personal use and content
You may use the website and reader for personal, non-commercial reading together. Website materials, story text and illustrations may be protected by copyright and other rights belonging to their respective rights holders. Access to the service does not transfer those rights. Please ask before reproducing, distributing, modifying or commercially using materials, except where applicable law permits it.
Respectful use
Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, bypass security checks, send spam or submit unlawful material. Only send information you are entitled to share. The contact form is for adult enquiries; please leave out children’s personal information.
Saved progress and privacy
Your reading place is stored in your browser, not in an account. It may be lost if browser data is cleared and does not sync across devices. Our privacy policy explains contact enquiries, service providers and browser storage.
Availability and responsibility
We may update, suspend or withdraw parts of the service. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without additional warranties, and we are not responsible for losses caused by interruptions, browser data loss or use outside these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
